Donna Paver:
My name is Donna Paver. I'm a nurse practitioner here at JEM, and I do all the aesthetic injectable treatments. Botox is most commonly used in the horizontal lines of the forehead, the frown lines between the eyebrows, which we also call the number 11s, and the wrinkles around the eyes, which we also call crow's feet. Everybody's a candidate for Botox. If you have deep, fine lines or wrinkles, or if you're trying to do it preventatively to prevent it. Before we do any injections, we do a thorough assessment of the face. We look at your facial structure, muscle movement, facial expressions. We're looking for any asymmetries that can also be corrected with Botox. You can start seeing results as soon as five to seven days. Botox takes its maximum effect in 14 days, and that's when we would want you to do a followup so we can evaluate your results.
Donna Paver:
People are so happy after their Botox treatment more so because they've tried so many things for years to work with their fine lines around their eyes or in their forehead. Botox has excellent results. It's a quick, non-surgical treatment that leaves everybody feeling so happy.
