Dermal Fillers | JEM Medspa

Nicole Pope:
My name is Nicole Pope. I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner, certified aesthetic nurse specialist, and certified plastic surgery nurse. I'm an aesthetic nurse practitioner at JEM, and I do the injectables.
Nicole Pope:
As we know, the aging process is inevitable. Clients will come in and have concerns mostly with loss of volume in their facial structure, so mid-face, cheek, jawline. Some clients want a little bit more volume to their lips, so dermal fillers can be a great non-invasive option for those clients. Fillers can last anywhere from six months to two years, based on the type of filler used, which is also determined on which area is being injected. The followup, typically, I see clients about two weeks later and we just see how everything is settling and to see if we need to make any adjustments, if the client is happy. Usually, I follow up even in a couple of days, just to see how they're doing.
Nicole Pope:
I think the best part of this job is the handing the client the mirror right after you've done fillers and the sense of confidence that, not to say that they didn't have that before, but really giving them a nice, refreshed look, but they're still happy that they still look like themselves.
